FAQs

Do we need to be religious?
No, we don't have to be religious. Everyone is welcome. There is no expectation, religious belief or other types of commitment on the part of the convent.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 12:00 until 18:00 (or later, if otherwise stated). The accommodations must be vacated by 10.00 on the day of departure (or later on request and subject to availability).
Is it like staying in a hotel or B&B?
It's a different feeling, a safe, convenient, clean place, centrally located in an idyllic landscape. An exclusive and cheap accommodation, more than simply a hotel and bed & breakfast in Sicily.
What is offered to guests?
All rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning and heating. Furthermore, they are quiet and very clean rooms.
Is the cleaning of the rooms daily?
Yes, except Sunday and public holidays.
Is the price including bed linen and towels?
Yes, the price includes bed linen and towels.
Do you have cots or camping beds for babies?
No, for hygienic reasons, we advise parents to bring their own cot. Alternatively, with a little extra, we can provide an extra bed.
Are there rooms with kitchenettes?
Yes, some rooms are designed for this purpose. We also provide everything you need with a little extra.
Are the rooms accessible for people with disabilities?
Some rooms are designed to accommodate disabled people.
Is an internet connection available?
Yes, free wi-fi throughout the hotel.
How can I reach Palermo from the airport?
Take the train from the airport station to Palermo Centrale (the train station is located on the lower floor of the aircraft station). The journey takes 45 minutes. For timetables: http://www.palermoweb.com/metropa/default1.htm. There are also numerous bus connections: www.prestiaecomande.it. For Cefalù it is necessary to continue with the train. The journey from Palermo Centrale to Cefalù takes about 45 minutes. All trains stop in Cefalù: www.trenitalia.com
How far is it from the train station?
The Cefalù train station is about 700m from the Collegio di Maria.
How to get to the Convent of Cefalù by car?

Where can the car be parked?
In Cefalù parking can sometimes be difficult, however our advice is to be patient. These are the warnings: WHITE LINES you can park without restriction unless you find written "ONLY FOR RESIDENTS" in this case it is not possible to park. BLUE LINES in some areas they are paid the cost is 0.80 cents per hour. If you want to find a guarded parking lot, just go to Via Verga (crossroads of Via Roma), there is a multilevel parking lot for a fee, or during the summer on the Cefalù seafront you will find parking lots on areas near the beaches.
Where can I park my bike / motorcycle?
It is possible to park your bike or motorcycle inside the private courtyard.
Breakfast is included in the price?
Breakfast is not included in the price of the rooms but is available on request at the bar.
Do you provide restaurant service?
No, it is not possible to have meals in the house. However, we have special rates with some restaurants in the area.
Do you accept animals?
No, pets are not allowed.
Is there a time obligation for the return at night?
Only during the winter period is the return for midnight. However, there are exceptions in the event of delays caused by events not foreseeable by the guests. In summer, instead, in Cefalù there are no problems related to the time of return because we have the night porter who offers the service until 2:00 am, or even after that time by agreement.
What languages are spoken by the managers?
Italian, English, German, French and Spanish.
