We were lucky to find this convent in Cefalù, Sicily. We had booked our accommodation, all in English, directly and easily from Australia. The hotel is by the sea in Cefalù. From the terraces, you have a breathtaking view of the sea below. Our bedroom window opened in front of the waves of the sea crashing on the rocks below us. Our room was simple but more than adequate for us. We had air conditioning, which was really necessary on hot summer days. The marble floors in the corridor were so clean that they sparkled!
There are several terraces and a very large one that overlooks the coast where you can sit and read or eat. It’s really an amazing bed and breakfast. The sandy beach is right outside the door, where you can swim or sunbathe. There is no breakfast, but there are kitchens available for guests. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, so dining out is very simple and you can try different venues with various types of cuisine.
Room prices are very affordable and suitable for any type of budget. The Convent of Cefalù is a place that remains in the heart. A place to come back to.
